Occasionally we like to surf around on the internet and see what the media and others are saying about our products. It’s no secret that all of us at Prestige Imports in Denver are huge fans of Porsches, though it’s admittedly nice to see others extolling their virtues too. It’ll come as no surprise that one needn’t look very long or hard to locate rave reviews about Porsche automobiles.
A recent review of the 2008 Porsche Boxster from US News and World Reports in particular caught our eye. According to their report the 2008 Porsche Boxster ranks number 1 out of 9 Luxury Sports Cars. Their ranking was based on an analysis of 45 published reviews and test drives of the Porsche Boxster, and their analysis of reliability and safety data.
Here’s an excerpt of what they wrote:
“The Boxster’s high ranking is based on its road-hugging handling dynamics and practical, yet luxurious interior that’s suited to satisfy the pickiest of buyers. True to Porsche’s reputation for masterful engineering, the Boxster is near perfect — and serves as a fantastic choice for anyone desiring a Luxury Sports Car. The 2008 Porsche Boxster, the Cayman’s convertible twin brother, is every bit as practical as it is luxurious and sporty.
Overall, what the Boxster offers over so many others is a near idealistic balance, writes Automobile.com. The review continues on to rate the 2008 Porsche Boxster favorably on the following:

- Interior - The 2008 Boxster ranks high in its class for its comfortable seats, superb fit and finish, and unheard of dual trunk compartments.
- Safety - Comes equipped with a wide array of active and passive safety features — including front and side-body air bags.
- Reliability - The 2008 Porsche Boxster reliability score of 10.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates.
